      The 401027 is a Pocket Foot Candle Light Meter.The low battery indicator "LO BAT" appears on the LCD display when it is nearing the time to replace the 9V battery. Reliable readings can still be obtained for several hours after the first appearance of the low battery indicator. To replace the batteries: Slide the rear battery compartment cover off of the meter and remove the old battery .Replace the battery and reinstall the compartment cover .

The precision color-corrected photo-diode sensor provides 5% accuracy. Extech offers repair and calibration services for the products we sell. Extech recommends that annual calibrations be performed to verify meter performance and accuracy.
