The MAX5251AEAP+ is designed as one kind of +3V, Quad, 12-bit voltage-output DAC device that can be used in wide range of applications such as (1)industrial process controls; (2)automatic test equipment; (3)digital offset and gain adjustment; (4)motion control; (5)remote industrial controls; (6)microprocessor-controlled systems.

Features of the MAX5251AEAP+ are:(1)Four 12-Bit DACs with Configurable Output Amplifiers; (2)+3.0V to +3.6V Single-Supply Operation; (3)Low Supply Current: 0.82mA Normal Operation 3A Shutdown Mode; (4)Reference Inputs are High Impedance in Shutdown; (5)Available in 20-Pin SSOP; (6)Power-On Reset Clears all Registers and DACs to Zero; (7)SPI/QSPI and Microwire Compatible; (8)Simultaneous or Independent Control of DACs via 3-Wire Serial Interface; (9)User-Programmable Digital Output.

The absolute maximum ratings of the MAX5251AEAP+ can be summarized as:(1)VDD to DGND and VDD to AGND: -0.3V to +6V;(2)REFAB, REFCD to AGND: -0.3V to (VDD + 0.3V);(3)OUT_, FB_ to AGND: -0.3V to (VDD + 0.3V);(4)Digital Inputs to DGND: -0.3V to 6V;(5)DOUT, UPO to DGND: -0.3V to (VDD + 0.3V);(6)Lead Temperature (soldering, 10sec): +300°C;(7)Storage Temperature Range: -65°C to +150°C;(8)Operating Temperature Range: 0°C to +70°C.
