245NQ015 General Description

245NQ015 is a type of 240 A Schottky rectifier which has five unique features: (1) Schottky barrier rectifier;(2) 0.28 V Vf @ 240 A,100; (3) it is optimized for OR'ing applications; (4) guard ring reverse protection; (5) 125 operation(Vr is less than 5 V).

There are some electrical characteristics about it.(1): average forward current(IF(AV)) is 240 A when Tc is 78 and Vr is 5 V; (2): average forward current(IF(AV)) is 240 A when Tc is 69 and Vr is 15 V; (3): maximum surge current(IFSM) is 3500 A at the condition of 8.3 ms, half sine and when the Tj is 125; (4): maximum repetitive reverse current(IR(OV)) is 2 A under the condition of 25, 1 us square wave and when f is 1 MHz; (5): max peak forward voltage(VFM) is 0.35 V when IFM is 240 A and Tj is 25; (6): max peak forward voltage(VFM) is 0.28 V when IFM is 240 A and Tj is 100; (7): max peak reverse current(IRM) is 4000 mA when VR is 5 V and Tj is 100; (8): max reverse current(IRM) is 6500 mA when Tj is 100 and under the condition of VRRM; (9): max peak reverse current(IRM) is 75 mA when VR is 5 V and Tj is 100; (10): max peak reverse current(RM) is 150 mA when Tj is 25 and under the condition of VRRM;(11): typical junciton capacitance(CJ) is 21,700 pF when VR is 5 V and Tc is 25.

Besides,there are some thermal and mechanical characteristics. (1): storage temp range (Tstg) is -55 to 150; (2): operating junction temp range(Tj) is -55 to 125; (3): max thermal resistance(RJC) is 0.24/W junction to case; (4): typical thermal resistance(greased) (RCS) is 0.12/W case to sink; (5): terminal torque is 35 inch to 40 inch pounds; (6): mounting base torque is 20 inch to 25 inch pounds; (7): weight is 1.1 ounces (32 grams) typical.
