The 60HQ080 Schottky rectifier series has been optimized for low reverse leakage at high temperature. The proprietary barrier technology allows for reliable operation up to 175 junction temperature. Typical applications are in switching power supplies, converters, free-wheeling diodes,and reverse battery protection.
The 60HQ080 has five features.The first one is 175 TJ operation.The second one is low forward voltage drop.The third one is high frequency operation.The fourth one is guard ring for enhanced ruggedness and long term reliability.The last one is hermetic packaging.
The 60HQ080 has some absolute maximum ratings.When parameter is IF(AV) Max. average forward current,the limits is 60,the units is A,the condition is 50% duty cycle @ TC =118, square wave form.When parameter is IFSM Max. peak one cycle non-repetitive surge current,the limits is 8400,the units is A,the condition is 5s sine or 3s rect.pulse following any rated load condition and with rated VRRM applied.When parameter is IFSM Max. peak one cycle non-repetitive surge current ,the limits is 1200,the units is A,the condition is 10ms Sine or 6ms rect.pulse following any rated load condition and with rated VRRM applied.When parameter is EAS non-repetitive avalanche energy,the limit is 15,the units is mJ,the condition is TJ = 25 , IAS = 1 Amps, L = 30 mH.When parameter is IAR repetitive avalanche current,the limit is 1,the units is A,the condition is current decaying linearly to zero in 1 sec frequency limited by TJ max. VA = 1.5 x VR typical.
