The 74ACT715SC is a type of 20-pin TTL-input compatible device which is able to generate Horizontal, Vertical and Composite Sync and Blank signals for televisions and monitors. All pulse widths are completely definable by the user. The device can generate signals for both interlaced and noninterlaced modes of operation.
Features of 74ACT715SC are:(1)maximum input clock frequency >130 MHz; (2)interlaced and non-interlaced formats available; (3)separate or composite horizontal and vertical sync and blank signals available; (4)complete control of pulse width via register programming; (5) all inputs are TTL compatible; (6)8 mA drive on all outputs; (7)default RS 170/NTSC values mask programmed into registers; (8)ACT715-R is mask programmed to default to a ClockEnable state for easier start-up into 14.31818 MHz RS170 timing.
The absolute maximum ratings and DC elecctrical characteristics of the 74AC241SC can be summarized as:(1):supply voltage is-0.5V to +7.0V;(2):DC input diode current is-20mA when VI is-0.5V,DC input diode current is+20mA when VI is VCC+0.5V;(3):DC input voltage is -0.5V to VCC +0.5V;(4):DC output diode current is-20mA when VO is-0.5V,DC output diode current is+20mA when VO isVCC+0.5V;(5):DC output voltage is-0.5V to VCC +0.5V;(6):DC output source or sink current is±50 mA;(7):DC VCC or ground current is ±20 mA per output pin ;(8):storage temperature ranges from-65°C to +150°C;(9):junction temperature is 140.DC elecctrical characteristics:(1):minimum high level input voltage is 4.5V when VOUT is 0.1V or VCC-0.1V;(2):maximum low level input voltage is 4.5V when VOUT is 0.1V or VCC-0.1V;(3):maximum high level output voltage is 4.5V when IOUT is-50uA;(4):maximum input leakage current is 5.5 uA when VI is VCC;(6):supply current quiescent is 5.5uA when VIN is VCC,etc.
