AM29LV040B General Description
The Am29LV040B is a single power supply, 4 Mbit, 3.0Volt-only Flash memory device organized as 524,288bytes. The data appears on DQ0-DQ7. The device isavailable in 32-pin PLCC and 32-pin TSOP packages. Allread, erase, and program operations are accomplishedusing only a single power supply. The device can also beprogrammed in standard EPROM programmers.
The device offers access times of 60, 70, 90, and 120 nsallowing high speed microprocessors to operate withoutwait states. To eliminate bus contention, the device hasseparate control pins-chip enable (CE#), write enable(WE#), and output enable (OE#)-to control normalread and write operations.
The device requires only a single power supply (2.7V3.6V) for both read and write functions. Internallygenerated and regulated voltages are provided for theprogram and erase operations.
