BD9781HFP General Description
The BD9781HFP is a type of silicon monlithic intergrated circuit flexible step-down switching regulator.
The BD9781HFP has the following features:(1)wide inpute range: 7V to 35 V;(2)intergrated 4 A pch power MOS fet;(3)high precision(reference voltage):±20%;(4)adjustable frequency: 50-500kHz(maximum synchronous frequency:500kHz).
It also has some outstanding absolute maximum ratings(Ta=25°C) and electrical characteristics(Ta=25°C,VIN= 13. 2V,VEN/SYNC=5V).Absolute maximum ratings:(1):supply voltage is 36 V;(2)output SW voltage is VIN V;(3):outpt SW current is 4 A;(4)EN/SYNC,INV pin voltage is VIN V;(5)RT,FB pin voltage is 7V;(6)power dissipation is 5.5 W;(7)oper ating temperature is -40 to+125;(8)storage temperature is -55 to +150.electrical characteristics:(1)supply current is 0 uA typ and 10 uA max when VEN/SYNC is 0 V and Ta is 25;quiescent current is 3 mA typ and 8 mA max when Io is 0A;(2):switch on resistance is 0.5 typ and 0.9 max when Ism is 50 mA;output current limit is 4A min and 8 A typ of design guarantee;leakage current is 0 uA typ and 30 uA max when VIN is 35 V and VEN/SYNC is 0V;(3):reference voltage1 is 0.98 V min,1 V typ and 1.02 max(VFB=VINV,S:ON,Ta=25);reference voltage2 is 0.97 V min,1 V typ and 1.03 max(VFB=VINV,S:ON);line regulations is 0.5 %(VIN=5-35V,S:ON);input bias current is -1 uA wh en VIN is 1.1 V;maximum FB voltage is 2.4 V min and 2.5 V typ when VIN is 0.5 V;FB sink current is -5 mA min,-3 mA typ and -0.5 mA max when VBF is 1.5 V and VINV is 0.5 V;(4)switching frequency is 82 kHz min,103 kHz typ and 122 kHz max when RT is 390k;(5)sense current is 35 uA typ and 90 uA max of VEN/SYNC.
