DS52-0002TR General Description
The DS52-0002TR is designed as an IC-based monolithic power divider in a low cost SOIC-8 plastic package. This 2-way power divider is ideally suited for applications where small size, low insertion loss, superior phase/amplitude tracking and low cost are required. Typical applications include base station switching networks and other communication applications where size and PCB real estate are a premium. Available in tape and reel. The DS52-0002TR is fabricated using a passive-integrated circuit process. The process features full-chip passivation for increased performance and reliability.
It has seven features. (1) Small size and low profile. (2) Industry standard SOIC-8 SMT plastic package. (3) Excellent amplitude and phase balance. (4) Superior repeatability. (5) Typical insertion loss would be 0.7 dB. (6) Typical isolation would be 21 dB. (7) 1 watt power handling. That are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its input power (with internal load dissipation of 0.125W maximum) would be 1 W CW. (2) Its operating temperature would be from -40°C to +85°C. (3) Its storage temperature would be from -65°C to +150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some typical electrical specifications have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its insertion loss above 3.0 dB would be typ 0.7dB and max 0.9dB. (2) Its isolation would be min 15dB and typ 21dB. (3) Its VSWR would be typ 1.7:1 and max 2.0:1 for input RL and would be typ 1.5:1 and max 1.7:1 for output RL. (4) Its amplitude balance would be typ 0.06dB and max 0.2dB. (5) Its phase balance degrees would be typ 1 degrees and max 3 degrees. Thata re all the main electrical specifications.
