HMS87C1404BDP General Description

The HMS87C1404BDP is one member of the HMS87C1404 family which designed as the advanced CMOS 8-bit microcontroller with 4K/8K/16K bytes of ROM. Also this device is supported by a full-featured macro assembler, C compiler and an in-circuit emulator CHOICE-DrTM and OTP programmers. The HMS87C1404BDP has four Timer/Counter registers. each module can generate an interrupt to indicate that an event has occurred (i.e. timer match).

Features of the HMS87C1404BDP are:(1)4K/8K/16 bytes on-chip program memory;(2)448 bytes of on-chip data RAM (included stack memory);(3)operating voltage & frequency:-2.3V to 5.5V (at 1 to 4.2MHz);(4)eight 8-bit A/D converter;(5)four external interrupt ports;(6)one 8-bit basic interval timer;(7)four 8-bit timer / counters;(8)two 10-bit high speed PWM outputs;(9)watchdog timer (can be operate with internal RC-oscillation);(10)one 8-bit serial peripheral interfac.

The absolute maximum ratings of the HMS87C1404BDP can be summarized as:(1)supply voltage:-0.3 to +6.0 V;(2)storage temperature:-40 to +125 °C;(3)voltage on any pin with respect to ground (Vss):-0.3 to VDD+0.3;(4)maximum current out of VSS pin:200 mA;(5)maximum current into VDD pin:150 mA;(6)maximum current sunk by (IOL per I/O pin):25 mA;(7)maximum output current sourced by (IOH per I/O pin):15 mA.
