L79M05T General Description

L79M05T is a kind of voltage regulator. There are some features as follows. First is -5 V output voltage. First is 500 mA output. The second is small-sized power package TP-3H permitting the equipment to be made compact. Besides, the allowable power dissipation can be increased by being surface-mounted on the board. Then is capable of being mounted in a variety of methods because of various lead forming versions available. Next is on-chip protectors (overcurrent limiter, ASO protector, thermal protector). At last, it can meet tape-used automatic mounting requirements.

What comes next is about the recommended operating conditions at Ta=25. The VIN (Input Voltage) is from -20 to -7.5 V. The IOUT (output current) is from 5 to 500 mA.
