LM2674M-ADJ General Description

The LM2674 is a series of regulators which are monolithic integrated circuits built with a LMDMOS process. They provide all the active functions for a step-down (buck)switching regulator and can drive a 500 mA load current with excellent line and load regulation.Beisdes,these devices are available in fixed output voltages of 3.3V, 5.0V, 12V, and an adjustable output version.The LM2674 series operates at a switching frequency of 260 kHz, so allowing smaller sized filter components than what would be needed with lower frequency switching regulators. LM2674M-ADJ is one of this kind.

It has many unique features:The first one is simple and easy to design with.The second one is it requires only 5 external components.The third one is it uses readily available standard inductors.The forth one is 3.3V, 5.0V, 12V, and adjustable output versions.The fifth one is adjustable version output voltage range which is 1.21V to 37V.The sixth one is ±1.5% max output voltage tolerance over line and load conditions.

There are some absolute maximum ratings about it.Supply voltage is 45 V.Switch voltage to ground is -1 V.Boost pin voltage is Vsw +8 V.Power dissipation is internally limited.Storage temperature range is -65 to 150.Maximum junction temperature is 150.
