The LM5642MTCX/NOPB is one kind of high voltage, dual synchronous buck converter that consists of two current mode synchronous buck regulator contr-ollers operating 180° out of phase with each other at a normal switching frequency of 200kHz. It can be used in embedded computer systems, navigation systems, telecom systems, set-top boxes, webPAD and point of load power architectures. It also features analog soft-start circuitry that is independent of the output load and output capacitance making the soft-start behavior more predictable and controllable than traditional soft-start circuits.
Features of the LM5642MTCX/NOPB are:(1)adjustable cycle-by-cycle current limit;(2)input under-voltage lockout;(3)output over-voltage latch protection;(4)configurable for single output parallel operation;(5)current mode control with or without a sense resistor;(6)adjustable output from 1.3V to 90% of Vin;(7)50A shutdown current;(8)two synchronous buck regulators;(9)180° out of phase operation;(10)independent enable/soft-start pins allow simple sequential startup configuration.
