The LT®5512 is a broadband mixer IC optimized for highlinearity downconverter applications including cable andwireless infrastructure. The IC includes a differential LObuffer amplifier driving a double-balanced mixer. An inte-grated RF buffer amplifier improves LO-RF isolation andeliminates the need for precision external bias resistors.
The LT5512 is a high-linearity alternative to passive diodemixers. Unlike passive mixers, which have conversionloss and require high LO drive levels, the LT5512 deliversconversion gain and requires significantly lower LO drivelevels.
