The LTC1096ACN8 is designed as one kind of micropower, 8-bit A/D converters that draw only 80A of supply current when converting.This 8-bit, switched-capacitor, successive approximation ADCs include sample-and-hold and can be used in battery-Operated systems, remote data acquisition, battery monitoring, battery gas gauges, temperature measurement, isolated data acquisition.
Features of the LTC1096ACN8 are:(1)80A maximum supply current;(2)1nA typical supply current in shutdown;(3)5V/3V operation;(4)sample-and-hold;(5)16s conversion time;(6)33kHz sample rate;(7)±0.5LSB total unadjusted error over temp;(8)direct 3-wire interface to most MPU serial ports and all MPU parallel I/O ports;(9)8-pin SO plastic package.
