LTC4210-1CS6 General Description

LTC4210-1CS6 is a kind of 6-pin SOT-23 Hot SwapTM controller. It provides the initial timing cycle and allows the GATE to be ramped up at an adjustable rate. Besides, it is for automatic retry on overcurrent fault. The typical applications include hot board insertion, electronic circuit breaker and industrial high side switch/circuit breaker.

There are some features as follows. (1)allows safe board insertion and removal from a live backplane; (2)adjustable analog current limit with circuit breaker; (3)fast response limits peak fault current; (4)automatic retry on current fault; (5)adjustable supply voltage power-up rate; (6)high side drive for external MOSFET switch; (7)controls supply voltages from 2.7 V to 16.5 V; (8)undervoltage lockout; (9)adjustable overvoltage protection; (10)low profile (1mm) SOT-23 (ThinSOTTM) package.

(1):supply voltage (VCC) is 17 V; (2):input voltage (SENSE, TIMER)) is from -0.3 to (VCC+0.3) V; (3):input voltage (ON)) is from -0.3 to 17 V; (4):output noltage (GATE) iternally limited; (5): operating temperature range is from 0 to +70; (6):storage temperature range is from -65 to +150; (7):lead temperature (soldering, 10 seconds) is 300.
