M5L8216P General Description

The M5L8216P is a kind of 4-bit bidirectional bus driver and suitable for the 8-bit parallel CPU M5L8085AP. It is widely used as the bidirectional bus driver/receiver for various types of microcomputer systems.

There are some features as follows: (1)parallel 8-bit data bus buffer driver; (2)low input current: DIEN, CS: IIL=-500A (max) and DI, DB: IIL=-250A (max); (3)high output current: DB: IOL=55 mA (max), IOH: -10 mA (max) and DO: IOH=-1 mA (max); (4)outputs can be connected with the CPU M5L8085AP: VOH=3.65 V (min); (5)three-state output.

The following is about the absolute maximum ratings (Ta=0 to 75): (1)VCC, supply voltage with respect to GND: 7 V; (2)VI, input voltage, CS, DIEN, DI inputs with respect to GND: 5.5 V; (3)VI, input voltage, DB inputs with respect to GND: VCC V; (4)VO, high level output voltages with respect to GND: VCC V; (5)Pd, power dissipation at Ta=25: 700 mW; (6)Topr, operating free-air temperature: 0 to 70; (7)Tstg, storage temperature: -65 to +150.
