MC33197AP General Description
The MC33197AP is one member of the MC33197 family which designed as the high side TMOS driver, dedicated for automotive applications. Features of the MC33197AP are:(1)designed for automotive high side driver application;(2)works with a wide variety of N-channel power MOSFETs;(3)PWM capability;(4)on board charge pump capable of charging 25nF in less than 1ms with no external components required;(5)drive inductive load with no external clamp circuitry required;(6)CMOS logic compatible input control;(7)TMOS over current and short circuit protection;(8)fault output to report an over MOSFET current condition;(9)output status available when MOSFET is on or pff;(10)extended temperature range from -40°C to 125°C;(11)over voltage and under voltage shutdown;(12)protected against automotive transients with few external components.
The absolute maximum ratings of the MC33197AP can be summarized as:(1)power supply voltage (pin 5):-0,6 to 60 V;(2)TMOS source voltage (pin 1):-0,6 to 60 V;(3)comparator threshold (pin 2):-0,6 to 60 V;(4)gate output voltage (pin 4):-0,6 to 25 V;(5)input voltage (pin 7):-0,6 to 25 V;(6)status (pin 6):-0,6 to 10 V;(7)ESD voltage capability:+/-2000 V;(8)storage temperature:-55 to +150 °C;(9)operating junction temperature:-40 to +150 °C;(10)thermal resistance J/A:145 °C.
