MP3201 General Description
The MP3201 is a constant frequency, 5-pin TSOT23 current mode step up converter intended for small, low power applications. The MP3201 switches at 1.1MHz and allows the use of tiny, low cost capacitors and inductors 2mm or less in height. Internal soft start results in small inrush current and extends battery life. The MP3201 operates from an input voltage as low as 2.7V and can generate 20V at up to 100mA. The MP3201 features automatic shifting to pulse frequency modulation mode at light loads. The MP3201 includes under-voltage lockout, current limiting, and thermal overload protection to prevent damage in the event of an output overload. The MP3201 is available in a small 5pin TSOT-23 package.

MP3202 General Description
The MP3302 is a step-up converter designed for driving up to 27 white LEDs, 3 WLEDs in series 9 strings, all from a single cell Lithium Ion battery. The MP3302 uses current mode, fixed frequency architecture to regulate the LED current, which is measured through an external current sense resistor. Its low 195mV feedback voltage reduces power loss and improves efficiency. The MP3302 is turned off if an over-voltage condition is present due to an open circuit condition.The MP3302 includes under-voltage lockout, current limiting and thermal overload protection preventing damage in the event of an output overload.The MP3302 is available in small 5-pin TSOT23 and 8-pin QFN (2mm x 3mm) packages.
