The OB2353CP is designed as low power off line SMPS switcher with SOP8 package and Pb-free. It combines a dedicated current mode PWM controller with integrated high voltage power MOSFET. It is optimized for high performance, low standby power consumption, and cost effective off-line flyback converter applications in sub 10W range. Its typical applications is offline AC/DC flyback converter for battery charger, PDA power supplies, digital cameras, power adaptor, set-top box power supplies and open-frame SMPS.
It has eleven features. The first one is optimized for sub 10W applications. The second one is single chip 650V sense FET power switch. The third one is soft start. The fourth one is frequency shuffling for EMI. The fifth one is extended burst mode control for improved efficiency and minimum standby power design. The sixth one is audio noise free operation. The seventh one is fixed 50KHz switching frequency. The eighth one is internal synchronized slope compensation. The ninth one is low Vdd startup current and low operating current. The tenth one is leading edge blanking on current sense input. The last one is good protection coverage with auto self-recovery. That are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. Its drain input voltage would be 650V. Its Vdd input voltage would be 30V. Its Vdd-G input voltage would be 30V. Its Vdd input DC current would be 10mA. Its Vfb input voltage would be from -0.3V to 7V. Its Vsense input voltage to sense pin would be from -0.3V to 7V. Its min/max operating junction temperature would be from -20°C to 150°C. Its min/max storage temperature would be from -55°C to 160°C. Its lead temperature (soldering, 10 secs) would be 260°C.
