The PS9701 is a kind of high speed digital output photocoupler which is an optically coupled isolator. It is available in the SOP package and can be used in computer and peripheral manufactures,measurement equipment and audio-visual applications.
The following is some information about its features. (1) high isolation voltage which is 2500 Vrms; (2) small and thin package; (3) high-speed response; (4) low threshold input current; (5) open-collector type; (6) ordering number of taping product; (7) UL approved; (8) VDE0884 approved.
Then is some description concerning its absolute maximum ratings when TA is 25 . (1): forward current (IF) is 30 mA; (2): reverse voltage (VR) is 5 V; (3): supply voltage (VCC) is 7 V and output voltage (VO) is 7 V; (4): power dissipaton (PC) is 85 mW; (5): operating temperature (TA) is from -40 to 85 ; (6): storage temperature (Tstg) is from -55 to 125 . The following is about its elecrtical characters when TA is from 0 to 70 . (1): the typical forward current (VF) is 1.65 V,the minimum is 1.4 V and the maximum is 1.9 V at the conditon of IF is 10 mA and TA is 25 ; (2): the typical terminal capacitance (Ct) is 60 pF when V is 0,TA is 25 and f is 1 MHz; (3): the typical high level output current (IOH) is 2 A,the maximum is 250 A at VCC is 5.0 V and IF is 250 A; (4): the typical high level supply currrent (ICCH) is 6 mA,the minimum is 4 mA and the maximum is 8 mA at VCC is 5.5 V and IF is 0 mA; (5): the typical rise time (tr) is 20 ns and fall time (tf) is 10 ns.
