Stanford Microdevices' SGA-5489 is a high performance cascadeable 50-ohm amplifier designed for operation at voltages as low as 3.3V. This RFIC uses the latest Silicon Germanium Heterostructure Bipolar Transistor (SiGe HBT) process featuring 1 micron emitters with FT up to 50 GHz.
This circuit uses a darlington pair topology with resistive feedback for broadband performance as well as stabilityover its entire temperature range. Internally matched to 50 ohm impedance, the SGA-5489 requires only DC blocking and bypass capacitors for external components.

SGA-5586 General Description
The SGA-5586 is a high performance SiGe HBT MMIC Amplifier. A Darlington configuration featuring 1 micron emitters provides high FT and excellent thermal perfomance. The heterojunction increases breakdown voltage and minimizes leakage current between junctions. Cancellation of emitter junction nonlinearities results in higher suppression of intermodulation products. Only 2 DC-blocking capacitors, a bias resistor and an optional RF choke are required for operation.
The matte tin finish on Sirenza's lead-free package utilizes a post annealing process to mitigate tin whisker formation and is RoHS compliant per EU Directive 2002/95. This package isalso manufactured with green molding compounds that contain no antimony trioxide nor halogenated fire retardants.
