The TC74VHC153F is designed as an advanced high speed CMOS DUAL 4-channel multiplexers fabricated with silicon gate C2MOS technology. It achieves the high speed operation similar to equivalent bipolar schottky TTL while maintaining the CMOS low power dissipation. Each of these data is selected by the two address inputs A and B.
It has seven features. (1) High speed, tpd=5.0ns typ at Vcc=5V. (2) Low power dissipation, Icc=4uA max at Ta=25°C. (3) High noise immunity, Vnih = Vnil = 28% Vcc min. (4) Power down protection is provided on all inputs. (5) Balanced propagation delays. (6) Wide operating voltage range Vcc (opr) = 2V to 5.5V. (7) Pin and function compatible with 74ALS153. That are all the main features.
Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1) Its supply voltage range would be from -0.5V to 7.0V. (2) Its DC input voltage would be from -0.5V to 7.0V. (3) Its DC output voltage would be from -0.5V to Vcc+0.5V. (4) Its input diode current would be -20mA. (5) Its output diode current would be +/-20mA. (6) Its DC output current would be +/-25mA. (7) Its DC Vcc / ground current would be +/-50mA. (8) Its power dissipation would be 180mW. (9) Its storage temperature range would be from -65°C to 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.
Also some DC electrical characteristics at Vcc=3.0V to 5.0V about it. (1) Its high level input voltage would be min Vcc x 0.7 V. (2) Its low level input voltage would be max Vcc x 0.3 V. (3) Its high level output voltage would be min 2.9V and typ 3.0V at Vcc=3V and min 4.4V and typ 4.5V at Vcc=4.5V, Ioh=-50uA. (4) Its low level output voltage would be typ 0V and max 0.1V at Iol=50uA and max 0.36V at Iol=4mA, 8mA. And so on.
