The TP3054BDW is a kind of monolithic serial interface combined PCM codec (pulse-code-modulated encoder and decoder) and filter. It provides all the functions required to interface a full-duplex (2-wire) voice telephone circuit with a TDM (time-division-multiplexed) system. The typical applications include line interface for digital transmission and switching of T1 carrier, PABX, and central office telephone systems, subscriber line concentrators, digital-encryption systems, digital voice-band data-storage systems and digital signal processing.
There are some features. (1) complete PCM codec and filtering systems includes: transmit high-pass and low-pass filtering, receive low-pass filter with (sin x)/x correction active RC noise filters, -law or A-law compatible coder and decoder, internal precision voltage reference, serial I/O interface, internal autozero circuitry; (2) low operating power: 50 mW typ; (3) power-down standby mode: 3 mW typ; (4) automatic power down; (5) TTL- or CMOS-compatible digital interface.
What comes next is about the absolute maximum ratings. (1): VCC (supply voltage) is 7 V; (2): VBB (supply voltage) is -7 V; (3): voltage range at any analog input or output is from VCC +0.3 V to VBB-0.3 V; (4): voltage range at any digital input or output is from VCC +0.3 V to ANLG GND-0.3 V; (5): TA (operating free-air temperature) is from 0 to 70; (6): Tstg (storage temperature) is from -65 to +150; (7): lead temperature 1,6 mm (1/16 inch) from case for 10 seconds: DW or N package is 260.
