      3862 is a kind of 1/2" diameter single-turn panel control with five unique festures: The first one is small diameter ; The second one is wide resisitance range; The third one is good resolution ; The forth one is linear tapers; The fifth one is cermet element.
     At the same time , there are some characteristics about it.First one is initial electrical characteristics: Standard Resistance Range is from 100 ohms to 1 megohm; Total Resistanse Tolerance is (A Taper)±10%; Independence Linearity is±5%;Absolute Minmum Resisitance is 2 ohms maximum; Effective Electrical Angle is 260°± 10°; Contact Resistance Variation is ±3% of total resistance; Insulation Resistance(500 VDC )is 1000 megohms minmum; Theoretical Resolution is esstantially infinite.
