GS2237-108 General Description

GS2237-108 is a kind of single-channel, low power, programmable transceiver with integrated framer and line drivers. It provides low power, high density solutions for 2-wire DSL equipment. The XDSL2 DSL chip contains a DSL bit pump plus framing into a two-chip solution comprised of a single-channel digital signal processor (DSP) with built-in framer and an Analog Front End with an Integrated Line Driver (ILD2).

The following is about the features. First is single-channel DSP with framer that fully integrates 2 seperate DSL chips into a single device. The second is an AFE with an integrated differential line driver. Then is 2B1Q, CAP, or PAM line codes. Besides, it supports single-channel symmetric data rates of 144 kb/s to 2320 kbs (depending on the application). In addition, the built-in framer provides easy access to EOC and indicator bits (framing can be bypassed completely for single-channel operation). The fifth is ATM UTOPIA Level 1 and 2 interface. Furthermore, a single oscillator and hybrid topology supports all speeds. The last one is +3.3 V and +5 V power supplies.

What comes next is about the absolute maximum ratings. The power supply voltage, VDD is 3.6 V. The power supply voltage, AVDD is 3.6 V. The input voltage is from GND-0.3 to 5.5 V. The storage temperature is from -40 to 125. The maximum junction temperature is 125.
