The KMI15/1 is designed as integrated rotational speed sensor detects rotational speed of ferrous gear wheels and reference marks.It consists of a magnetoresistive sensor element, a signal conditioning integrated circuit in bipolar technology and a magnetized ferrite magnet.The frequency of the digital current output signal is proportional to the rotational speed of a gear wheel.
It has six features.The first one is it would have digital current output signal.The second one is that it would have zero speed capability.The third one is that it would have wide air gap.The next one is that it would have wide temperature range.The next one is that it would be insensitive to vibration.The next one is that it would have EMC resistant.
Some absolute maximum ratings and electrical characteristics have been concluded into several points as follow.The first one is about its DC supply voltage which would be typ 12V and max 16 V.The next one is about its storage temperature which would be from -40 to +150 °C.The next one is about its ambient operating temperature which would be from -40 to +85 °C.The next one is about its soldering temperature which would be max 260 °C.The next one is about its current output signal low which would be min 5.6mA and typ 7mA and max 8.4mA.The next one is about its current output signal high which would be min 11.2mA and typ 14mA and max 16.8mA.The next one is about its sensing distance which would be min 0 to 2.5mm and typ 0 to 2.9mm.The next one is about its operating tooth frequency which would be from 0 to 25000 Hz.The next one is about its output signal rise time which would be typ 0.5 us.The next one is about its output signal fall time which would be typ 0.7 us.And so on.For more information please contact us.
