L702N General Description

L702N is a kind of a monolithic integrated circuit designed for high current and high voltage switching applications. It includes four darlington transistors with common emitter and open collector suitable for current sinking applications mounted on the new Multiwatt® package.

There are some features as follows. First is 70 V sustaining voltage. The second is 2 A output. Then is high current gain. At last, it is ideal for driving solenoids, DC motors, stepper motors, relays and displays.

The following is about the absolute maximum ratings. The VCEX (Collector-emitter Voltage(input open)) is 90 V. The Vi (Input Voltage) is 30 V. The IC (Collector Current) is 3 A. The Ptot (Total Power Dissipation at Tcase90) is 20 W for multiwatt package. The Tstg (Storage Temperature) is from -55 to 150. The Tj (Operating Junction Temperature) is from -25 to 150. Then is about the thermal data. The maximum Rth j-case (Thermal Resistance Junction-case) is 3 /W for multiwatt package.
