MAS5503T General Description

The MAS5503T is an improved low cost version that features excellent gray scale linearity with no crossover distortion and less EMMAS5503T for 64KHz (horizontal scanning frequency)monitors. The MAS5503T can be used with pre-amplifiers where the common emitter transistor is part of the pre-amp. With this device, OSD, peaking coil, and peaking capacitor can be available. A very small heat sink is required to pick-up ground from the standard TO220 package Tab.With 65MHz bandwidth, the device is an ideal low cost solution for 14", 15" and 17" monitors.

PerkinElmer provides optical sensors, IR emitters and subassemblies for such diverse applications as street light controls, cameras, smoke alarms, business machines, automotive sensors, and medical equipment.MAS5503T is a PIN diode based voltage variable attenuator. It is packaged in an 8 lead small outline narrow body plastic, surface mount package. The attenuator has linear operating power and intercept point levels higher than GaAs FET MMIC based voltage variable attenuators. The VVA is suited for use where low distortion and high linear operating power are required. The device operating frequency is selected in the 900 to 2500 MHz frequency band by defining the length of the T/4 (a quarter wave transmission line at the operating frequency) connected to pins 5 and 6.
