PCD3315 General Description

The PCD3315 is a single-chip 8-bit microcontroller fabricated in CMOS and is a member of the PCD33XX family. It has special on-chip features for application in telephone sets.It has many unique features: The first one is 8-bit CPU,RAM,I/O in a single 28-lead DIL or SO package. The second one is 1536 ROM bytes. The third one is 160 RAM byttes. The forth one is 20 quasi-bidirectional I/O port lines. The fifth one is two test inputs. The sixth one is over 80 instructions(based on MAB8048).The seventh one is all instructions 1 or 2 cycles,etc.

There are some DC characteristics about it. Supply voltage(operating)(VDD) is 1.8 V min and 6 V max. Supply current(operating, at VDD is 3 V)(IDD) is 350 uA typ.Inputs: Input voltage low(VIL) is 7 uA typ. Input voltage high(VIH) is 0.7VDD V typ and VDD V max. Outputs: Output sink current low(at VDD is 3 V,Vo is 0.4 V) (VOL) is 0.6 V min and 1.5 V typ.
