The PS8701 is a kind of high noise reduction,high speed analog output photocoupler which is an optically coupled isolator. It is available in the SOP package and can be used in computer and peripheral manufactures,general purpose inverters,substitutions for relays and pulse transformers and power supply applications.
The following is some information about its features. (1) high common mode transient immunity; (2) high supply voltage; (3) high isolation voltage which is 2500 Vrms; (4) high-speed response; (5) taping product number.
Then is some description concerning its absolute maximum ratings when TA is 25 . (1): forward current (IF) is 25 mA; (2): reverse voltage (VR) is 3.0 V; (3): supply voltage (VCC) is 35 V and output voltage (VO) is 35 V; (4): power dissipaton (PC) is 45 mW; (5): operating temperature (TA) is from -55 to 100 ; (6): storage temperature (Tstg) is from -55 to 125 . The following is about its elecrtical characters when TA is 25 . (1): the typical forward current (VF) is 1.65 V,the minimum is 1.7 V and the maximum is 2.2 V at the conditon of IF is 16 mA; (2): the typical terminal capacitance (Ct) is 60 pF when V is 0 and f is 1 MHz; (3): the typical high level output current (IOH) is 3 nA,the maximum is 500 nA at VCC is 5.5 V and IF is 0 mA; (4): the typical high level supply currrent (ICCH) is 0.01 A,the maximum is 2 A at VCC is 30 V and IF is 0 mA; (5): the typical current transfer ratio is 20 %,the minimum is 15 % and the maximum is 35 % when IF is 16 mA,VCC is 4.5 V and VO is 0.4 V.
