TC5032P General Description
The TC5032P is a kind of six digit decimal counter whose BCD output of each digit is dynamically output in sequence from the higer order digit on BCD OUTPUT in synchronism with SCAN input. By using BC (blanking control) input, leading zero suppress from arbitrary digit can be achieved without external circuits. Since the first stage counter can respond up to 10 MHz (VDD=5 V), it is also suitable for counting and frequency dividing of high frequency pulses.
The following is about the absolute maximum ratings: (1)DC supply voltage, VDD: VSS-0.5 to VSS+10 V; (2)input voltage, VIN: VSS-0.5 to VDD+0.5 V; (3)output voltage, VIN: VSS-0.5 to VDD+0.5 V; (4)SC input current, IIN: ±10 mA; (5)power dissipation, PD: 300 mW; (6)storage temperature range, Tstg: -55 to 125; (7)lead temperature (10 sec), Tsol: 260.
What comes next is about the recommended operating conditions (VSS=0 V): (1)supply voltage, VDD: 3 to 8 V; (2)input voltage, VIN: 0 to VDD V; (3)operating temperature, Topr: -30 to 85; (4)REXT external registance, REXT: 20 k to 10 M.
