The TC5092AP is an integration 13-bit A/D converter of high precision and low power consumption.The 13-bit, 3-state data output is capable of independent enable in 4 bits so as to be connected directly to 4-bit/8-bit/12-bit data bus.(LSB is common to lower order 4 bits.) Further, since this converter has an 8-channel annalog multiplexer, and a serial clock output function, it is most suitable as data collection unit of various industrial control instruments.
Features of the TC5092AP are:(1)high precision is ±1 LSB typ; (2)low power consumption is 10 mW typ; (3)single power supply is VDD-5 V± 0.5 V; (4)high -speed conversion is fCP max.-5MHz; (5)8-channel annalog multiplexer contained; (6)TLL/CMOS compatible digital input/output; (7)capable of direct connection to 4-/8-/12-bit bus.
The absolute maximum ratings of the TC5092AP can be summarized as:(1): DC supply voltage(VDD) is Vss-0.5 V to Vss+7 V; (2): input voltage(Vin) is Vss-0.5 V to Vss+7 V; (3): reference supply voltage(Vref) is VAGND to VDD+0.5 V; (4): output voltage(Vout) is Vss-05 V to VDD+0.5 V; (5): analog ground voltage(VAGND) is Vss-0.5 V to Vref; (6): DC input current(Iin) is ±10 mA; (7): power dissipation(PD) is 300 mW; (8): operating temperature range(Topr) is -40 to +85; (9): sotrage temperature range(Tstg) is -65 to +150.
The TC5093AP is a monolithic CMOS 8 bit successive approximation A/D converter with 8 channel multiplex inputs. The device is well suited to a broad application field such as process and machine control and automotive quipment.
There are some features as follows. First is high accuracy which is ±1/2 LSB TYP. The second is high speed conversion which is 100 sec TYP @ fcp=640 kHz. Then is single power supply which is 5 V±10%. Next is low power consumption which is 9 mW @ Ta=25. The fifth is 8 channel analog multiplex input. The sixth is easy interface to all microprocessors. The seventh is zero or full scale adjustment free. The last one is latched 3-state output.
What comes next is about the absolute maximum ratings. The VDD (supply voltage range) is from VSS-0.5 to VSS+7 V. The VIN (DC input voltage) is from VSS-0.5 to VDD+0.5 V. The VOUT (DC output voltage) is from VSS-0.5 to VDD+0.5 V. The VREF (reference voltage) is from VSS-0.5 to VDD+0.5 V. The AGND (analog ground voltage) is from VSS-0.5 to VDD+0.5 V. The IIN (DC input current) is ±10 mA. The PD (power dissipation) is 300 mW. The TSTG (storage temperature) is from -65 to 150. The TL (lead temperature (10s)) is 300.
