The TSB81BA3D is designed as IEEE 1394b there-port cable transceiver / arbiter which provides the digital and analog transceiver functions needed to implement a three-port node in a cable-based IEEE 1394 networks.
It has many features.The first one is fully Supports Provisions of IEEE P1394b revision 1.33+ at 1-Gigabit signaling rate.The second one is fully Supports Provisions of IEEE 1394a-2000 and 1394-1995 standard for high performance serial bus.The third one is fully Interoperable With Firewire, i.LINK, and SB1394, implementation of IEEE Std 1394.The next one is provides three fully backward compatible, (1394a-2000 Fully Compliant)Bilingual P1394b Cable Ports at up to 800 Megabits per Second (Mbits/s).The next one is provides three 1394a-2000 fully compliant cable ports at 100/200/400 Mbits/s.The next one is power-down features to conserve energy in battery powered applications.The next one is low-power sleep mode.The next one is fully compliant with open host controller interface (HCI) requirements.The next one is cable power presence monitoring.The next one is cable ports monitor line conditions for active connection to remote node.The next one is low jitter, external crystal oscillator provides transmit and receive data at 100 / 200 / 400 / 800 Mbits/s, and link-layer controller clock at 49.152 MHz and 98.304 MHz.And so on.
Some absolute maximum ratings over operating free-air temperature (unless otherwise noted) have been concluded into several points as follow.The first one is about its supply voltage range which would be from -0.3 V to 4 V.The second one is about its input voltage range which would be from -0.5 V to Vdd + 0.5 V.The third one is about its output voltage range at any output which would be from -0.5 V to Vdd + 0.5 V.The fourth one is about its operating free air temperature which would be from 0°C to 70°C.The fifth one is about its storage temperature range which would be from -65°C to 150°C.The sixth one is about its lead temperature 1,6 mm (1/16 inch) from case for 10 seconds which would be 260°C.Something should be noted that all voltage values, except differential I/O bus voltages, are with respect to network ground.
