The VN896 CD is a kind of mobile IGP chipset. It offers the latest VIA mobile technologies and is fully certified with the Microsoft Vista Basic Logo and supports for VIA PowerSaver, which acts as a throttle to lower the CPU's frequency and voltage when the workload is light, reducing overall CPU power consumption by up to 50 percent.It is designed to provide unsurpassed visual clarity for notebooks. It includes the highly efficient VIA V4 bus interface, advanced power management features which support for DDR2 and the industry's only simultaneous usage of single-pass multi-texturing and single-cycle trilinear filtering. Also,it boasts multi-monitor and extended desktop.
