Introduction of Ambient Light Sensor with IR Proximity Detection

Published:2012/1/5 21:26:00 Author:Li xiao na

A digital ambient light sensor has been introduced by Maxim, which enables incandescent and fluorescent illumination. It senses proximity using infrared. This sensor is named MAX44000 and made on a BiCMOS process. Three optical sensors and two ADCs are included in this 2x2x0.6mm IC. The optical response of a human eye in variety of spectral environments with a 0.03 to 65,535 lux dynamic range can be imitated when t...   (View)
