Introduction of Ambient Light Sensor with IR Proximity Detection

A digital ambient light sensor has been introduced by Maxim, which enables incandescent and fluorescent illumination. It senses proximity using infrared. This sensor is named MAX44000 and made on a BiCMOS process. Three optical sensors and two ADCs are included in this 2x2x0.6mm IC.
