The DG441DY is one member of the DG441 series.Maxim's redesigned DG441 analog switches now feature on-resistance matching (4 max) between switches and guaranteed on-resistance flatness over the signal range (9 max). These low on-resistance switches conduct equally well in either direction.
Features of the DG441 are:(1)plug-in upgrades for industry-standard DG441;(2)improved rDS(ON) match between channels(4max);(3)guaranteed rFLAT(ON) over signal range (9max);(4)improved charge injection (10pC max);(5)improved off-lLeakage current over temperature(<5nA at +85°C);(6)withstand electrostatic discharge (2000V min) per method 3015.7.On-resistance match between channels and flatness is guaranteed only with bipolar-supply operation.Flatness is defined as the difference between the maximum and the minimum value of on-resistance as measured at the extremes of the specified analog range.
The absolute maximum ratings of the DG441 can be summarized as:(1)continuous current (any terminal):30 mV;(2)peak current, S or D:100 mA;(3)lead temperature (soldering, 10sec):+300°C;(4)storage temperature range:-65 to +150°C.Stresses beyond those listed under "Absolute Maximum Ratings" may cause permanent damage to the device. These are stress ratings only, and functional operation of the device at these or any other conditions beyond those indicated in the operational sections of the specifications is not implied.Exposure to absolute maximum rating conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability. The products described in this document are designed, developed and manufactured as contemplated for general use, including without limitation, ordinary industrial use, general office use, personal use, and household use, but are not designed, developed and manufactured as contemplated (1) for any use that includes fatal risks or dangers that, unless extremely high safety is secured, could have a serious effect to the public, and could lead directly to death, personal injury, severe physical damage or other loss (i.e., nuclear reaction control in nuclear facility, aircraft flight control, air traffic control, mass transport control, medical life support system, missile launch control in weapon system), or (2) for any use where chance of failure is intolerable (i.e., submersible repeater and artificial satellite).
