FPF1008 General Description

The FPF1007/8/9 are low RDS P-Channel MOSFET loadswitches offered in a selection of 10µs, 80µs, and 1ms slew rateturn-on options for transient/in-rush current control. To supporttrends in mobile application requirements the minimumoperating input voltage has been reduced down to 1.2V, theinput current leakage has been minimized to extend battery life,and the ESD-protection has been designed to withstand aminimum of 8KV (HBM) and 2KV(CDM).

The switch is controlled by an active-high logic input (ON pin)allowing it to interface directly with a low voltage control signal.An internal ON pin pull down resistor protects against anunintentional device turn-on while in the initial state. An On-chippull-down resistor on the output is enabled when the switch isturned-off and provides a quick and robust discharge of theoutput load.

FPF1013 General Description

The FPF1013/4 series is an IntelliMAX advanced slew rateloadswitch offering a very low operating voltage. These devicesconsist of a 17mΩ N-channel MOSFET that supports an inputvoltage up to 2.0V. These slew rate devices control the switchturn-on and prevent excessive in-rush current from the supplyrails. The input voltage range operates from 0.8V to 1.8V tofulfill today's lowest Ultraportable Device's supply requirements.Switch control is via a logic input (ON) capable of interfacingdirectly with low voltage control signals.

The FPF1014 has an On-Chip pull down allowing for quick andcontrolled output discharge when switch is turned off. TheFPF1013/4 series is available in a space-saving 1X1.5 CSP-6Lpackage.
