The GM76C8128A is a 1,048,576 bits static random access meory organized as 131,072 words by 8 bits. Using a 0.8 um advanced CMOS technology, it provides high speed operation with minimum cycle time of 70 ns. The device is placed in a low power standby mode with CS1 high or CS2 lo and the output enable allows fast memory access. Thus it is suitable for high speed and low power applications, especially where battery back-up is required.It is offered in a 32-pin DIP(600 mil), SOP(525mil) and TSOPI(0820).It has many unique features: the first one is high speed. The second one is low power standby and low power operation. The third one is completely static RAM(no clock or timing strobe required). The forth one is equal access and cycle time. the fifth one is capability of battery back-up operation. The sixth one is single +5 V operation(10% more or less),etc.
There are some absolute maximum ratings about it. Ambient temperature under bias(Ta) is 0 to 70.Storage temperature(Tstg) is -55 to 150.Soldering temperature and time(TSOL) is 260,10S(at lead). Supply voltage(Vcc) is -0.3 Vto 7.0 V. Input voltage(Vin) is -0.3 V to 7.0 V.Input and output voltage(VI/O) is -0.5 V to vcc+0.5 V . Power dissipation(PD) is 1.0 W.Otherwise ,there are also some recommended operationg conditions about it when Ta is 0 to 70.Supply voltage(Vcc) is 4.2 V min, 5.0 V typ and 5.5 V max. Input high voltage(VIH) is 2.2 V min and Vcc+).3 V max. Input low voltage(VIL) is -0.2 V min and 0.8 V max. Data retection supply voltage(VDR) is 2.0 V min and 5.5 V max.
