HT7130 General Description

The HT7130 is designed as a set of three-terminal low power high voltage regulators implemented in CMOS technology. They allow input voltages as high as 24V and they are available with several fixed output voltages ranging from 1/5V to 15V. Its typical applications include battery powered equipment, audio/video equipment and communication equipment.

It has five features. The first one is it would have low power consumption. The second one is it would have low voltage drop. The third one is it would have low temperature cosfficient. The fourth one is it would have high input voltage which would be up to 24V. The fifth one is TO-92 and SOT-89 packages. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. The first one is about its supply voltage which would be from -0.3V to 28V. The second one is about its power consumption which would be 200mW. The third one is about its storage temperature range which would be from -50°C to +125°C. The fourth one is about its operating temperature range which would be from 0°C to 70°C. It should be noted that these are stress ratings only. Stresses exceeding the range under "absolute maximum ratings" may cause substantial damage to the device. Functional operation of this device at other conditions beyond those listed in the specification is not implied and prolonged exposure to extreme conditions may affect device reliability.

Also some electrical characteristics about it. The first one is about its output voltage which would be min 2.85V and typ 3.0V and max 3.15V. The second one is about its output current which would be min 20mA and typ 30mA. The third one is about its load regulation which would be typ 60mV and max 100mV. HT7130-1 General Description

The HT71XX-1 series is a set of three-terminal low power high voltage regulators implemented in CMOS technology. They allow input voltages as high as 24V. They are available with several fixed output voltages ranging from 3.0V to 5.0V. CMOS technology ensures low voltage drop and low quiescent current.

Although designed primarily as fixed voltage regulators, these devices can be used with external components to obtain variable voltages and currents.
