Description

The HT7044A is designed as one member of the HT70XX series which is a set of three-terminal low power voltage detectors implemented in CMOS technology. Each voltage detector in the series detects a particular fixed voltage ranging from 2.2V to 7V. The voltage detectors consists of a high-precision and low power consumption standard voltage source, a comparator, hysteresis circuit, and an output driver. CMOS technology ensures low power consumption.

HT7044A has six features. (1)Low power consumption. (2)Low temperature coefficient. (3)Built-in high-stability reference source. (4)Built-in hysteresis characteristic. (5)TO-92 & SOT-89 package. (6)Typical applications  include battery checkers, level selectors, power failure detectors, microcomputer reset, battery memory backup and non-volatile RAM signal storge protectors. Those are all the main features.

Some HT7044A absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage would be from Vss-0.3V to Vss+26V. (2)Its output voltage would be from Vss-0.3V to Vdd+0.3V. (3)Its output current would be 50mA. (4)Its storage temperature range would be from -50°C to 125°C. (5)Its power consumption would be 200mW. (6)Its operating temperature range would be from 0°C to 70°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics of HT7044A are concluded as follow. (1)Its H to L detectable voltage would be min 4.18V and typ 4.4V and max 4.62V. (2)Its L to H detectable voltage would be min 4.263V and typ 4.62V and max 5.082V. (3)Its hysteresis width would be min 0.02Vdet and typ 0.05Vdet and max 0.1Vdet. (4)Its operating current would be typ 4uA and max 7uA. (5)Its operating voltage would be min 1.5V and max 24V. (6)Its output sink current would be min 3mA and typ 6mA.
