KA8504 General Description
The KA8504 is a telephone speech network which includes TX Amp, RX Amp and DTMF Amp.
The gain is controlled automatically by sensing the line current. The circuit internally performs electronic switching between dialing and speech by mute signal.

KA8507B is a automatic gain control system that is used for dynamic range compression and expansion. According to the companding the signal, this can reduce the noise components. KA8507B includes compressor, expander, pre-amp, filter amp, limiter and mute/bypath logic.
