MH88437AD-P1 General Description

The MH88437AD-P1 is one member of the MH88437AD-P family which designed as the data access arrangement that can be used in interface to central office or PABX line for:fAX/modem, electronic point of sale and security system, telemetry, set top boxes. This device also provides an isolation barrier capable of meeting the supplementary barrier requirements of the international standard IEC 950 and the national variants of this scheme such as EN 60950 for European applications and UL 1950 for North American applications.

Features of the MH88437AD-P1 are:(1)FAX and modem interface (V.34/V.34+); (2)designed to work at data rates up to 56kbits; (3)external programmable line and network balance impedances; (4)programmable DC termination characteristics; (5)IEC950 recognised component; (6)transformerless 2-4 wire conversion; (7)integral loop switch; (8)dial pulse and DTMF operation; (9)accommodates parallel phone detection; (10)line state detection outputs: -loop current/ringing voltage/line voltage +5V operation, low on-hook power (25mW); (11)full duplex voice and data transmission; (12)on-hook reception from the line; (13)meets French current limit requirements; (14)conforms to German dial pulse standards; (15)approvable to UL 1950; (16)industrial temperature range available.
