PE4235 General Description

      The PE4235 RF Switch is designed to cover a broad range of applications from near DC to 4000 MHz. This single supply reflective switch integrates on-board CMOS control logic driven by a simple, single-pin CMOS or TTL control input. Using a nominal +3-volt power supply, a 1 dB compression point of +15 dBm can be achieved. The PE4235 also exhibits outstanding isolation of better than 40 dB at 1000 MHz and is offered in a small 3x3 mm DFN package.The PE4235 is manufactured on Peregrine's UltraCMOSTM process, a patented variation of silicon-on-technology on a sapphire substrate, offering the performance of GaAs with the economy and integration of conventional CMOS.
     It has five unique features. The first one is single 3.0-volt power supply. The second one is low insertion loss which is 0.40 dB at1000 MHz, 0.45 dB at 2000 MHz.The third one is high isolation of 40 dB at 1000 MHz,30 dB at 2000 MHz.The forth one is typical 1 dB compression point of +15 dBm. The fifth one is available in a 6-lead DFN package.
    There are also some electrical specifications (@ +25 °C (ZS = ZL = 50 ))about it. Operating Frequency¹ is 4000 MHz. Input 1 dB Compression is 13.5 dBm min, 15 dBm max under the xondition of 2000 MHz.Input IP3 is 32.5 dBm min and 36 dBm max under the condition of 2000 MHz, 5 dBm. Insertion loss is 0.40 dB typ and 0.50 dB max under the condition of 1000 MHz, and it is 0.45 dB typ and 0.60 dB max under the condtion of 2000 MHz. Return loss is 20 dB min , 22 dB typ under the condition of 1000 MHz, and it is 17 dB min , 19 dB typ under the condition of 2000 MHz.
    At last , there are some absolute maximum ratings. V_DD is -0.3V min and 4.0V max. V_Iis -0.3V min and VDD + 0.3 V max uunder the condition of voltage on CTRL input. TST is -65 min and 150 max. T_op is -40 min and 85 max.

The PE4237 SPDT Switch is designed to cover a broad range of applications from DC through 4.0 GHz. This reflective switch integrates on-board CMOS control logic driven by a single-pin, low voltage CMOS or TTL control input. Using a nominal +3-volt power supply, a 1 dB compression point of +32 dBm can be achieved. The PE4237 also exhibits outstanding isolation of better than 43 dB at 1.0 GHz and is offered as DIE and in a small 6-lead 3x3mm DFN package.
