The W83194BR-703 is a Clock Synthesizer for SIS 741 chipset with 964 South Bridge. W83194BR- 703 provides all clocks required for high-speed microprocessor and provides step-less frequency programming and 32 different frequencies of CPU, PCI, and AGP clocks setting, support two ZCLK clock and one pair current mode differential SRC clock outputs; all clocks are externally selectable with smooth transitions.
The W83194BR-703 provides I2C serial bus interface to program the registers to enable or disable each clock outputs and provides -0.5% and +/-0.25% center type spread spectrum or programmable S.S.T. scale to reduce EMI.
The W83194BR-703 also has watchdog timer to support auto-reset when systems hanging caused by improper frequency setting.
The W83194BR-703 accepts a 14.318 MHz reference crystal as its input and runs on a 3.3V supply.
Stresses greater than those listed in this table may cause permanent damage to the device. The W83194BR-730 is a Clock Synthesizer which provides all clocks required for high-speed RISC or CISC microprocessor such as AMD K7. W83194BR-730 provides 64 CPU/PCI frequencies which are selectable with smooth transitions by hardware or software. W83194BR-730 also provides 13 SDRAM clocks.
The W83194BR-730 provides step-less frequency programming by controlling the VCO freq. and the programmable PCI clock output divisor ratio. A watch dog timer is quipped and when time out, the RESET# pin will output 4ms pulse signal.
The W83194BR-730 accepts a 14.318 MHz reference crystal as its input. Spread spectrum built in at 0~-0.5% or ±0.25% to reduce EMI. Programmable stopping individual clock outputs and frequency selection through I2C interface. The device meets the Pentium power-up stabilization, which requires CPU and PCI clocks be stable within 2 ms after power-up. Using dual function pin for the slots(ISA, PCICPU, DIMM) is not recommend.

W83194BR-740 provides all clocks required for high-speed RISC or CISC microprocessor such as AMD K7, and also provides 16 different frequencies of CPU clocks frequency setting. All clocks are externally selectable with smooth transitions. The W83194BR-740 makes SDRAM in synchronous or asynchronous frequency with CPU clocks.

The W83194BR-740 accepts a 14.318 MHz reference crystal as its input and runs on a 3.3V supply. High drive PCI CLOCK outputs typically provide greater than 1 V /ns slew rate into 30 pF loads. CPU CLOCK outputs typically provide better than 1 V /ns slew rate into 20 pF loads as maintaining 50± 5% duty cycle. The fixed frequency outputs as REF, 24MHz, and 48 MHz provide better than 0.5V /ns slew rate.
