Description

The 2SA720A is a kind of silicon PNP epitaxial planar type. It is used for low-frequency driver amplification and is a complementary to 2SC1318A. It has some features as follows. (1) high collector to emitter voltage; (2) optimum for the driver stage of a low-frequency and 25 W to 30 W output amplifier.

There are some absolute maximum ratings of 2SA720A at TA is 25 . (1): collector to base voltage (VCBO) is -80 V, collector to emitter voltage (VCEO) is -70 V and emitter to base voltage (VEBO) is -5 V; (2): peak collector current (ICP) is -1 A; (3): collector current (IC) is -0.5 A; (4): collector power dissipation (PC) is 625 mW; (5): junction temperature (Tj) is 150 ; (6): storage temperature (Tstg) is from -55 to 150 . Then is the electrical characteristics at TA is 25 . (1): the maximum collector cutoff current (ICBO) is -0.1 A when VCB is -20 V and IE is 0; (2): the typical base to emitter saturation voltage is -0.85 V and the maximum is -1.5 V at IC is -300 mA and IB is -30 mA; (3): the typical transition frequency is 120 MHz at VCB is -10 V, IE is 50 mA and f is 100 MHz; (4): the typical collector output capacitance of 2SA720A is 20 pF and is 30 pF for the maximum when VCB is -10 V, IE is 0 and f is 1 MHz.
