The 33289 is designed as a dual high-side switch (DHSS) dedicated for use in automotive and industrial applications. It is designed to drive typical inductive loads such as solenoid valves.

33289 has twelve features. (1)Designed to drive inductive loads. (2)Operating voltage range from 6.0V to 27V. (3)Maximum breakdown voltage greater than 40V. (4)Surface mount package. (5)40mW Rds(on) at 25°C. (6)Overtemperature protection with hysteresis. (7)Short circuit protection. (8)Undervoltage shutdown. (9)Overvoltage shutdown. (10)Open load detection in off-state. (11)Independent diagnostic output. (12)ESD protection 2.0kV with standby current > 5.0mA at Vbat below 14V. Those are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings of 33289 have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)ts Vbat and Vbatc voltage continuous/pulse would be from -0.3V to 41V. (2)Its out1 and out2 voltage with respect to GND, continue/pulse would be from -4.0V to 41V. (3)Its out1 and out2 to Vbatp voltage continuous would be 41V. (4)Its st1 and st2 voltage continue/pulse would be from -0.3V to 7.0V. (5)Its in1 and in2 voltage continuous would be from -0.3V to 7.0V. (6)Its in1, in2, st1, st2, OLDE current would be +/-4.0mA. (7)Its ESD voltage would be 2000V for human body model and would be 200V for machine model. (8)Its operating junction temperature range would be from -40°C to 150°C. (9)Its storage temperature range would be from -55°C to 150°C. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device.

Also some electrical characteristics are concluded as follow. (1)Its operating voltage would be min 6.0V and max Vov. (2)Its supply current both channels on would be typ 6.0mA and max 16mA. (3)Its supply current one channel on would be typ 5.0mA and max 10mA. (4)Its supply current any state would be max 30mA. And so on.
