Description

      The 3521 has the description as follows. The 3521 is designed for switching mode power supply for PCs etc. It provides all the functions similar to combinations of industrial 494 plus UTC 3510 circuits.
      The 3521 has four features. The first feature is about the over-voltage protection which is for 3.3V, 5V and 12V with delay. The second feature is about the under-voltage detection which is also for 3.3V, 5V and 12V with delay. Only by knowing these can you make the 3521 operate normally and smoothly. At the same time, you should know that there is a remote ON/OFF function which is convenient for you to use. The last and not the least important feature is the power good circuitry for PCs, which improves the properties of the UTC 3521 PWM controller.
      The 3521 PWM controller has six absolute maximum ratings and you must know that Vcc=5.5V unless otherwise specified. The first absolute maximum rating you must know is that the supply voltage is 5.5V, which Vcc represents. The second absolute maximum rating you must learn is the drain output voltage, whose rating is 5.5V. And Vcc 1 and Vcc2 are the symbols of the drain output voltage. The third absolute maximum rating is the drain output current which Icc 1 and Icc 2 represent. And the data of the drain output current you should remember is 200mA. The fourth absolute maximum rating is the power dissipation which is 200 mW. And PD is the symbol of it. When you operate the product, you should controlled the ratings between -10 °C and 70 °C. At the same time, you should make sure the storage temperature ranges from -65 °C to 150 °C.
