383L

The type 383L is designed as 105°C high-ripple snap-in with4 pins.Adding longer-life and more ripple capability to the excellent value of Type 380L/LX capacitors, the 381L/LX readily handles tough switching power supply input and output circuits and motor-drive bus capacitor applications where the high surface area of multiple units in parallel equals the ripple capability of our type 520C inverter-grade capacitor.
383L has four features.The first one is that it would have top performance in power supplies and motor drives.The second one is that it would have 4 times the life.The third one is about its series which would be 2, 4 and 5 leads available.The fourth one is that it would have big selection of 42 case sizes.That are all the features.
Some important electrical specifications and characteristics have been concluded into several points as follow.The first one is about its operating temperature which would be 40 °C to +105 °C up to 315 Vdc, 25 °C 350 Vdc and up.The second one is about its rated voltage which would be 10 to 450 Vdc.The third one is about its capacitance which would be 33 F to 150,000 F ±20%.The fourth one is about its leakage current which would be <=3CV A.The fifth one is about its EIA ripple life which would be 12,000 h @ 85 °C, Full load as per EIA IS-749 with condition of Capacitance ±20%, ESR 200% of limit and DCL 100% of limit.The sixth one is about its load life test which would be 3,000 h @ 105 oC, full load with condition of Capacitance ±10%, ESR 125% of limit, DCL 100% of limit.The seventh one is about its shelf life which would be 1,000 h @ 105 °C with condition of Capacitance ±20%, DF 200% of limit and DCL 100% of limit.The last one is about its vibration which would be 10 to 55 Hz, 0.06" and 10 g max, 2 h in each plane.And so on.
