The 40EPF06PbF fast soft recovery QUIETIR rectifier series has been optimized for combined short reverse recovery time and low forward voltage drop. The glass passivation ensures stable reliable operation in the most severe temperature and power cycling conditions. It has two typical applications which are output rectification and freewheeling in inverters, choppers and converters and input rectifications where severe restrictions on conducted EMI should be met.
There are some major ratings and characteristics about it . IF(AV) (sinusoidal waveform) is 40 A. VRRM is 600 V. IFSM is 475 A. VF (@10 A, TJ = 25°C) is 1 V. trr (@ 1A, - 100A/s) is 60 ns. TJ is - 40°C to 150 °C. Absolute maximum ratings : Max.Average Forward Current is 40 A(at TC = 105° C, 180° conduction half sine wave). Max.Peak One Cycle Non-Repetitive is 400 A(10ms Sine pulse, rated VRRMapplied), and 475 A(10ms Sine pulse, no voltage reapplied).
