5542TRI series

The 5542TRI series is the triangular type LEDs of the standard types using GaP and GaAsP/GaP chips.As these triangular types feature high visibility,they are most suitable not only for the indicators but also for various kind of applications.

Features of the 5542TRI series are:(1)available in 4 colors;red,green,yellow and orange;(2)stepped construction permits easy industallation;(3)most suitable for direction indicatior of tape recorder;(4)flat light-emitting surface with uniform illumination;(5)low current drive,directly compatible with IC;(6)quick response,allowing pulsed operation;(7)high reliability.

The absolute maximum ratings of 5542TRI series are(Ta=25):(1)forward current:PR 30mA(red),BG 50mA(green),PG 50mA(green),AY 50mA(yellow),AA 50mA(orange);(2)reverse voltage:4 V;(3)operating temperature:-30 to +85(red,green,yellow,orange);(4)storage temperature:-30 to +100(red,green,yellow,orange);(5)lead soldering temperature:260 for 5 seconds(3.0mm from body).
